yesterday i went to work and connor gave me a hug goodbye and he said, it was nice working with you, you're funny and kind and made my summer a little nicer
i hugged him back and said i feel the same about you, okay, but i work with you again on thursday
he said, oh?
i said, haha yeah
he said, well, now it's going to be awkward because we already said goodbye

i think shy teenage boys, the kind who don't make sex jokes are currently the best kind of human being in my life
hilarious and adorable forever
they are the most frustrated and awkward people i have ever met, they are awesome and not quite "pretty" but definitely something with a good, clean energy
i feel as though jackson was probably this sort of boy, and probably spencer too
